Beautiful in Barcelona

Yes , yes, we are in Barcelona and have been for about 1 1/2 days. It is so beautiful and very nice weather here. It is almost 82 degrees everyday which is just fantastic. The little hostel we are staying in is like a home with couches in the living room, nice big tables to eat on and a kitchen you can use to cook whatever you want. It is really nice. The first day we were here we took a nice long nap becuase the train ride we took was very exhausting. It was a beautiful train ride in itself but for some reason at a stop about and hour outside of Barcelona all these American teenagers like 15-17 got on the bus and just were so loud that they ruined mine and jessica´s nap time. Everybody on the train was upset that these kids got on and were so damn loud, it was very annoying. Jessica and I have learned how to not make our selfs seem so obvious when we are out and about in a foreign city because sometimes people in a city really really don´t like tourist and if you make it obvious you are just asking for trouble. So anyways back to Barcelona, its it so nice here and very spread out. I don´t feel so crammed like I normally do in a big city here. Our first night we went walking down Las Ramblas which is a very famous street where everybody goes just to walk around at night and find something to do. We walked around for a bit found a nice Tapas place to eat (which are tiny little appetizers that you just get a bunch of) and we also had a nice seafood Paella. After that we went into this little court yard and found a place just to have a drink and people watch and then....... all of a sudden this guy came up to us, sat down next to us and it was this boy Nick who we met in Rome with his friend that we can never remember his name and he cooked a great dinner for us one night while we were there. I was so surprised to see them, this is the third time we have seen someone who we met in a different country in another country. So they were telling us that they were with a cousin of the boy who i can´t ever remember his name and that he lives in Barcelona and could show us around a bit. We all had some really good wine and then went down walking down Las Ramblas again. His cousin´s name is Billy and he was quite the character. He knew everybody. So we continued to walk down and went over to the port, walked over the bridge and there were all these clubs that you could get into for free and just dance the night away. That is exactly what we did. Spanish people definitely know how to party i must say. They are the most active people night. After we went to all the dance clubs we walk outside and it like 3:30 am and the streets are FULL of people. It was just amazing. FUn night that was and then the next day we woke up and just bummed on the beach. Really big waves and me and jessica almost got wiplash they were so big. That was fun also. And im going to have this amazing tan when I come home. WOoo hooo!! Can´t say i didn´t use the beautiful beaches to my fullest!!! So ready to come home but im having a get time in our last destination. Can´t wait for Mexican food!! Sorry mom i haven´t called the phones here eat your money up like no other. I will call today most likely. Love you and and can´t wait to come home and get to my BED!!!
