Amsterdamnnnnnnnnn........

Yesterday we arrived in Amsterdam around 2:30pm. The first thing i see is all of these bikes EVERYWHERE!!! There are not very many cars and everybody just rides bikes. Can't say i'm loving it here as much as i loved it in London but i still can't form my opinion. The plus at this Hostel is that you have free internet access and the down side is the bathrooms and the overall cleaness isn't too good. When we arrived here at this hostel they weren't as friendly either. Everybody was too stoned. Yes, and in Amsterdam they can smoke pot legally. And when you walk around there are tons of "coffee shops" around. They sell everything there its kind of a culture shock because in america you have to be all hush hush about everything. Holland is beautiful and green though and its pretty cold and rainy here. That is a surprise to me because in England i dont remember it raining at all. Here it rains more and it is colder. The buildings here have a different style. Its really cool though. I think today we are going to go on a boat ride on one of the Canals and just site see. I tried to get a hold of Umu Said and it didn't work. He needs to hook us up with the Heineken people. Well there isn't too much to say then NO jerry i didn' t get to go to Buckingham palace because it is only open during certain days. Too bad i know but when i go back to london i'm hopeing it will be open. Oh and TRACY thank you for all of the "advice" i'm sure you have my mother worried. But she has nothing to worry about. Well will write more when i have a chance to. These computers are hard to come buy.

London Time

Jessica and I cannot seem to get onto London time quite yet. We just keep sleeping whenever we are tired and that doesn't seem to be the time everybody else is sleeping. Well anyways we woke up yesterday at like 3 am and just sat talking to all these people that came in from their nights out and that is when you really meet the "interesting" people. Its all fun though because the security guards were also taking part in the convo. So Jessica and I stayed up till 7am and that is when they serve breakfest. So we got breakfest and had a conversation with this girl named Giovanni from Brazil who is an artist and works at the hostel, this man name John who was french and barely spoke any english and this other security guard name Arno from South Africa. It was pretty interesting talking to them all cause i dont think we would have ever got all the same people from all those different countries unless we were in a hostel. I was just so fascinated by that. After we ate breakfest we made our plans to go to Big Ben, The Parlimentary Buildings, the London Bridge, and St. Pauls Chapel. The St. Paul's chapel was vey cool. They are restoring parts of it but when you went inside you saw all these tombs and things written on the wall for mostly people who lost their lives in battles. To get inside the church part it costed like 7 pounds a person which was pretty expensive and i was really pissed about it, but when you got inside it was the most magnificent thing i have ever seen. The detail that was put into this cieling was remarkable. You couldn't take pictures inside other wise the police would get you. So i just took pictures around the building. I am still having to find a place i can upload my pictures on but i will ask this person if i can borrow his lap top. So after all the site seeing we went into this sandwich shop bought a sandwich, walked to St. James park and just sat on the grass watching people and the ducks. There are so many tourist that it is easy to spot them out of a crowd especially Americans because they were very distinctive clothing that a regular English person wouldn't wear. As for today what we did is basically sleep and i had to go to the Pharmacy to get some cold sore stuff for Jessica because from all the loss of sleep and staying up at ungodly hours of the night she got a huge cold sore. Tonight we are just going to go somewhere to eat and walk around. That is alot more fun to do then stay in the hostel. I really enjoy just walking around and taking the city in because its just so much fun to do. I had really good fish and chips at this one place on the corner. IT seems to be the place that we go to buy fish and chips. They are really really really good and its so true that you have to try them in England because they are completly different than in America. Tomorrow we are planning to take a "walk" to see all these beatles things. It only costs 6 pounds and it is a daily thing that is done through the hostel. That should be fun.

two days later

Well the last time i posted we hadn't got our luggage yet but to my surprise (not really) it didn't come in an hour. It came 4 hours later than that. Jessica and i were waiting on the stoop at our hostel talking to everyone and i decided to go get a drink at a store. Well when i came back incredibly fustrated because we hadn't gotten our luggage yet everybody on the stoop was acting really wierd. Jessica wasn't there and i assumed she was calling the airline to bitch. But about a half hour later while i'm talking to every damn person at the hostel. Jessica comes back with another shirt on and i was like........."You BITCH i thought we didn't get it yet." LOL everybody was in on the joke. Anyways so the luggage is all ok very happy we got it. As for the night we were taken by Umu Said's friend to one of his events he was throwing it went pretty well. You had to be 21 to get into the club and well since we are so special we got in. They had some famous singer i cna't remember his name but i took pictures. I knew one of the songs he sang so i felt very good about that. So we left that club at around 12:00am and we went back to the hostel. We got the meanest asshole for a taxi cab driver and i tell you.......... i almost was about to hurt the man. He kept getting mad at us cause he didn't know where the hell he was going. Well anyways we found it ok but still English people have to be the rudest people ever! But after that it was ok cause we went back to the hostel and had a good time there. And yes i did drink some alcohol!! lol OH NO mom don't get mad at me lol. We got free drinks because we are the prettiest people here lol. And yes Tracy i can say that because i have seen the girls here and the European men are a lot prettier than the girls . LOL So anyways Friday and Saturday night we went out to eat at the connection of umu Said's and we got two free dinners. It was really cool. They had a belly dancer at both of the restaurants and it was just the most amazing food i have ever had. I have pictures of that too lol. Anyways belly dancer, free food, and rude people i want to hurt would pretty much sum up my last couple of days. The staff at the hostel are the nicest people you know why? Because they aren't ENGLISH! lol. Will write more later. SOrry mommy i haven't called you i'm having issues with my phone card. I'm trying again later. LOVE YOU ALL AND i hope arizona is nice and hot because here it is really really nice weather!
