Swiss hospitality

In Lucerne it has been three things: 1) Rainy, 2) Cold, and 3) humid. It reminds me of Holland because when we got there it was also raining and cold. The humid part is definitely fun because my hair is just loving it. Lucerne is such a beautiful city its just a shame that we can`t go up onto the lifts that take you into the mountains because it is all foggy and you can`t see anything. It still is beautiful i just can`t get over how beautiful it is because it reminds me so much of a fairy tale. There are like these old buildings all around and every building looks different. There are bridges that go across the lake that are wooden and have these flowers that line the bridge that are all different colors. Food here is also very good it seems to me that i can`t find one Swiss person that isn't eating chocolate. LoL they all eat it here and i bought so much of it to bring home because it is just that damn good. At our hotel you get a free breakfest and one of the things they have is like cocoa powder that you mix with warm milk which is hot chocolate but it is so good because it is dark hot chocolate. Yeah mom and jerry i know you guys are drooling right now and the people here are so nice. I`m trying my hardest to find Tracy her crystal but i haven`t succeeded. Don`t worry im still on the man hunt. So last night we met some girls from Philly and we were talking to them and we all asked each other what they were doing that night and me and jessica were planning on going to get some food by the lake for dinner and check out this really popular bar that everybody seems goes to, but when we got there it was only all these Swiss military men and old people like 60+. So we ate there and decided that maybe we were going to go meet up with those other girls that we had talked to ealier cause they told us they were going to go to a "jazz" club to listen to music. So we found our way there and we get inside the place we see that there is obviously no jazz music being played. Which is kinda stupid because the name of the place was Jazz Kantine. So it was a bit dissapointing but still i enjoyed sitting there and talking with the girls we met. At about 11 pm the girls left and went back to the hotel and me and jessica decided that we wanted to walk around just to walk by the lake and all that good stuff. So we were walking and we noticed that Lucerne is dead by about 12 am which sucks cause there is nothing to do. No stores are open no bars, no night clubs just absolutely dead..........except this one place Jessica stumbled upon. When we were almost to the hotel i saw these blue lights and music coming from a corner in the street. I was like "hey jessica lets go check that out," so we get there and it looked like a really fancy place and i was just wondering what kind of place in Lucerne is open this late at night everybody here sleeps at 11pm. So Jessica walks in and quickly comes out with this horrid look on her face. I tried to see what was in there because i was following her but she came out too quick that i didn`t see. So she goes to me and says " i think thats a whore house." I was laughing so hard at the look on her face because it was totally unexpected. Jessica said that the women in there had this confused look on their face because it was basically just for men lol. That was so funny and that was about the extent of our excitment last night. We booked our train for Rome and we are just so excited for it. I bought tons of chocolate for everybody and a special little surprise for my mom, jerry, and wendy. SO next is Rome and im excited to get back into a big city after Munich and Lucerne. There is just so much more that is going on that you can always find something to do at anytime. Oh and Grandma tell grandpa that trust me i`m really realizing that im the foreigner. On one last note before i stop writing. Today when i was walking with jessica we were going to the internet place where i am at the moment some guy just comes out of no where and says.... " if you have something to throw away dont just throw it on the ground that isn`t what we do here," WHERE THE HELL DID THAT COME FROM. I was so pissed at this guy because i didn`t drop a damn thing. I guess Swiss people are really sensitive about littering but i DIDN`T do it. That was also my excitement for today. Also in Switzerland they are very big on water conservation. You have to push a button for the shower and it like only stays on for a minute. I think that is a pretty good idea. In Munich if you didn`t put you trash in the right bins you could get fined 50 euro. They mean business. Still dont like the germans particularly the police or as jer says the Gestapo. I laughed so hard when he said that. But I cant speak for the whole country. Swiss people are the nicest and most humble people. Hope everything is good in the homeland. I bought a newsweek in english just to see how things are going. Doesn`t seem to be going too smooth. Oh and one last thing, some of the views in Lucerne Pat would love! I remember she has this calendar on her desk that has pictures of alot of places that look exactly like in Lucerne. She would love it.
